Gaurav Gupta did his MBBS & DCH from BJ (Government) Medical College, Pune (Maharashtra) in 1994 & 1996 respectively. Thereafter he cleared DNB Pediatrics (National level MD) examination in May 1998. Dr. Gaurav Gupta has worked in premier institutes like PGI Chandigarh, Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh, Fortis Hospital & Apollo Clinics. Charak Clinics was founded in 2002. Dr. Gaurav Gupta belongs to Delhi. His dad is also a Child Specialist and has retired from the Army Medical Corp. He is a member of American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP).

Work experience – Since his post-graduation, Dr Gupta has worked as a SENIOR RESIDENT (post MD experience) in Government Medical College, Sector 32 and then in PGI, Chandigarh (a total of over 4 years!). He has over 20 International presentations, and has many research papers including seven International Publications as well. Dr. Gaurav Gupta has been applauded and has published scientific papers for prescribing antibiotics with caution, role of Influenza vaccine in Indian and many other topics related to kids health. He has featured in many Newspaper Columns and Radio/ TV Interviews where he shares his views on preventing diseases and keeping children healthy. He is frequently invited as a speaker to share his experience with other Pediatricians across the country.

At Present – Dr. Gaurav Gupta works as the Pediatrician-in-charge of Charak Clinics since 2002. He also is the founder of India’s first ISO Certified multicity Travel Health Clinic, called TravelSafe Clinics, located in Chandigarh, Delhi & Mumbai. He is also the Co-creator of Chubears, India’s favorite award winning delicious gummy vitamins for Children.
